Plan to be humble

In the law of sowing and reaping, there abides the rule of consequences. It is a fact that you and I will reap what we sow. Like gravity, this law is always working. All of us are right now building or tearing down our futures. We are planting good seeds for our future or bad seeds that will eventually come up. This law exist and can not be broken. It is the law that allows you to plan your future. Think about what will life be like next year. In five years... what will my children be like…my home? What impact will my life have?

Wisdom says to obey God and to fear Him. In doing so, He rewards us.

Proverbs 22:4 The reward of humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches, honor and life.

Being humble means you submit yourself, your plans, and your desires under God's control. Think of what God could do in your life (riches, honor, and life) if you chose to fear Him and live wisely. Scripture clearly says that one of God’s characteristics is that He is a rewarder! You see, although we do not barter with God for rewards, when we choose to fear Him and honor Him with a life of wisdom, we get his reward. And better than that, we honor Him.
