Partnering with God

If the Church is serving people for Jesus sake, then the people will hear the Gospel.

Luke 24:46-47 “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations.”

The Church will declare to captives (addicts to drugs, sex, slaves to bitterness, anger, hated) that the love and grace of Jesus Christ is more powerful than their addictions. The Church will declare to those who have lost their sight (those who can no longer even “see” the truth about God at all) that God is real and so are the extents of his love, and the consequences of unbelief. The Church will tell those oppressed (literally “broken” people) that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is alive to heal the broken hearted,  and give beauty for ashes.  The Church will tell the world that Jesus Christ brought grace and the favor of God to those in need and that grace changes everything.

The Church is Jesus’ servant. We are in a place of awesome opportunity. He gave to us the commission to do what He did. He gave the Church the Holy Spirit to empower her to do the work. That means, what He has commanded us to do, He is partnering with us to accomplish! Almost like we are brought onto his team to work together to win the prize. What an honor to be a Christian, a servant of Christ!  Dear Christian, do not allow this world system to intimidate to be anything less than honored servant of Christ. It is an privilege to serve Him!
